TROOP 202 LEAVES FOR CAMP GEIGER IN:

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 202 and Cub Scout Pack 202 of Bethany, Missouri.  We are chartered by the American Legion, Wilson-Axline Post.  Our goal is to provide a quality Scouting program for boys in and around the Bethany area.

Cub Scouting

Cub Scouts is for boys in 1st through 5th grades.  There is a reason for everything boys do in Cub Scouting.  Apart from the fun and excitement, the aim of Cub Scouting is to help boys grow into good citizens who are strong in character and personally fit.  This is why we say that Cub Scouting is fun with a purpose.

Cub Scout Pack 202 meets every Thursday from 7-8 pm at the American Legion hall on Highway 13 south of Bethany.
Boy Scouting

Boy Scouting

Boy Scouts is a program for boys ages 11 through 17 designed to acheive the aims of Scouting through a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster.  (Boys may also join Boy Scouts if they have earned the Arrow of Light Award or have completed the 5th grade.)

The BSA endeavors to develop American citizens who are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit; have a high degree of self-reliance as evidenced in such qualities as initiative, courage, and resourcefulness; have personal values based on religious concepts; have the desire and skills to help others; understand the principles of the American social, economic, and governmental systems; are knowledgeable about and take pride in their American heritage and understand our nation's role in the world; have a keen respect for the basic rights of all people; and are prepared to participate in and give leadership to American Society

Boy Scout Troop 202 meets every Thursday from 7-8 pm at the American Legion hall on Highway 13 south of Bethany.
